The Brent Panthers are a competitive basketball club based in Wembley, in the London Borough of Brent, North-West London. The Panthers compete in Basketball England's National League in both the Premier and Conference divisions in addition to managing multiple teams in the Community Basketball League, London's largest grassroots basketball competition.
We offer regular training and game preparation for ambitious players who progress through our local league teams to national league performance squads. Additionally, we guide and support our players through to international selection consideration as their skills and abilities develop.
As an independent non-profit organisation, we are managed and run by a dedicated club committee that oversees all activities. Our club is coached by a team of positive, fully-qualified, energetic, and highly-skilled coaches with a wealth of experience at all levels of the game. United by a passion for teaching the next generation, our coaches are carefully selected to provide mentorship and foster positive life skills development for all our players, giving them role models to communicate, grow, and develop with.
Located just five minutes away from the iconic Wembley Stadium, our regular training venue hosts teams at the Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 age-group levels for both boys and girls.
The Brent Panthers were created to provide new and exciting opportunities for young players across North-West London to enjoy the game and develop their skills through our commitment to excellent coaching. We focus on developing accountable and responsible young leaders of tomorrow, both on and off the court.
While we strive to develop better basketball players, we also place a premium on nurturing well-rounded individuals. Basketball serves as a powerful teaching tool to help develop character and skills that will benefit our players in other areas of their lives. We facilitate regular training, feed the passion to play, improve, and compete within a successful team environment.
As a warm and friendly membership club, we welcome new players who may be interested in joining us.
