One of the first goals new players to our sport have is to join a real basketball team so you can play in organised games. However, the problem with joining some teams is, there simply isn't enough practice time to work consistently and continuously on individual fundamental skills development, to help you improve as a player so you can be at your best when the opportunity for real games finally arrives. Add to that, most players at organised club level have already been playing for some time and know the basics and seem to already know what their coach wants, which can make joining a team daunting for new or inexperienced players.

Hoopstars is designed to solve this problem by focusing on equipping new and developing players with all of the fundamental physical and mental skills you need to 'make the team'. Knowing how important competitive games are to the ongoing development of young players, we also link all of our Hoopstars sessions to LSB affiliated clubs who compete in the Community Basketball League, which means, once you progress up the levels with your skills in Hoopstars, you'll be drafted into a real team so you can play organised games in London's most exciting youth basketball league!
