The LSB bring another successful summer to an exciting conclusion this week with the third and final instalment of the turbo-charged series of 'Summer Skills Development Camps' designed to help players of all levels achieve their basketball goals. Whether you're new to the game and want to learn the fundamentals in a fun-filled environment, or are a more experienced player looking for ways to advance your positional skills, confidence and your ability to score, rebound and defend - this LSB camp is for you!
We are proud to announce our team of fully-qualified, DBS checked coaches are led this week by AJ Roberts and Germayne Forbes, two decorated former professional and international players who are committed to passing on their well-seasoned skills to all those eager to learn in a highly-energised and exciting environment!
LSB Skills Development Camps are a lot of fun for young players passionate about basketball and are guaranteed to help players improve fundamental basketball skills, technical understanding of the game and overall health and fitness of every single camper, from the absolute beginner through to the next emerging hoops star!
LSB Camps cover all of the core fundamentals and teach campers how to master the techniques around dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defence, spatial awareness and movement off of the ball. We welcome early stage beginners and work with them to introduce the basics, through to advanced players who will work with our advanced coaches on refined skills, game understanding and more complex techniques that can be applied immediately to help you make a greater impact on your team!
Our camps also provide plenty of opportunities for players to test their newly acquired skills in exciting, organised league games! Represent your favourite team in real, live-action, 5-on-5 officiated games, where you are the star! Compete for the league title and earn your place on the Camp All-Star team! Fantastic prizes to be won for players of all abilities!
LSB Camps are not just about rewarding talented players. We encourage and help develop winning characteristics in young people that contribute to well-balanced, positive, well-behaved 'champions' on and off the court. Respect, good work-ethic, listening & communication skills, team-work, goal-setting and self-empowerment are all embedded into our coaching ethos at our camps, delivered through engaging, fun-filled session plans by a fantastic team of coaches, united in their passion to pass on the 'magic' of basketball to the next generation.
Our camps are for both boys and girls across multiple age groups from 7-17 year olds. We cater to a wide age range and mix of abilities by splitting participants into age and skills-appropriate groups, then provide focused coaching for each group that develops skills at the right pace and level for every single camper.
Our coaches pride themselves at being the best they can be so we can provide each and every single participant with the tools they need to get better and feature some of the best development coaches in the city, alongside featured special guests on hand to make each LSB camp a truly memorable experience.
We celebrate the success of progress with all of our participants with a range of awards and prizes at the end of the week and provide positive feedback to ensure all of the hard work and effort of each child is recognised and encouraged to carry forward post-camp.

I've been looking for basketball camps over the holidays in London for some time now, so I was glad to find the LSB as my daughter loves basketball. After a week at the Easter camp I was blown away! So many new skills taught and the coaches really know how to include everyone in all of the activities. The motivational speech at the end was excellent! My daughter was very happy and we will be back at the next camp.
